COLOR BY VON — TERMS & CONDITIONS

By accessing this website, placing an order, or purchasing any product from Color by Von, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please review these terms carefully before completing your purchase. By checking the Terms & Conditions box at checkout and submitting your order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Orders & Payment

All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless an approved third-party payment or installment provider is used. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details, including product selection, cap size, length, color, shipping address, email address, and other selections before completing checkout.

Once an order has entered processing, it may not be modified or canceled.

Color by Von reserves the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or refund an order when necessary, including suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, payment issues, or circumstances that prevent fulfillment.

Product Appearance & Color

Color by Von offers human-hair products that may include handcrafted, customized, colored, or individually styled units.

Because hair is a natural product and many units are individually colored or styled, slight variations in texture, density, curl pattern, hairline, length, tone, placement of highlights, and color may occur.

Colors may also appear differently depending on lighting, photography, monitor settings, mobile devices, and the natural characteristics of the hair.

These reasonable variations are not considered defects.

Cap Size & Fit

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct cap size and reviewing all sizing information before purchasing.

Color by Von is not responsible for an incorrect fit resulting from a customer selecting the wrong cap size or providing inaccurate measurements.

Ready-to-Ship Orders

Ready-to-ship products generally require 3–4 business days for processing before shipment.

Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. Weekends and holidays are not considered business days.

Preorders

Preorder products generally require approximately 7–21 business days for processing, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Estimated processing times are estimates and may be affected by supplier availability, customization, carrier interruptions, holidays, or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Color by Von.

Purchasing a preorder item confirms the customer's acceptance of the stated processing period.

Shipping

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Color by Von is not responsible for delays, additional shipping costs, or delivery problems caused by an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer.

Orders may include tracking, shipping insurance, and/or signature confirmation depending on the shipment.

Signature confirmation is required on wig shipments when applicable. Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive and sign for the package.

Carrier transit times are estimates and begin after the order has been processed and transferred to the carrier.

Color by Von cannot guarantee a carrier's delivery date.

Lost, Stolen or Missing Packages

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's handling and tracking procedures.

Color by Von is not responsible for packages that are stolen after documented delivery, packages delivered to an address supplied incorrectly by the customer, or delivery issues caused by circumstances outside Color by Von's reasonable control.

When appropriate, Color by Von will assist customers with available carrier claims or shipping-insurance procedures.

A carrier's tracking records, delivery confirmation, GPS information, photographic proof of delivery, and signature confirmation may be used when investigating a delivery dispute.

Returned or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to Color by Von because of an incorrect address, refused delivery, failure to claim the package, inability to obtain a required signature, or another customer-related delivery issue, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs.

Returned packages resulting from customer-related delivery issues are subject to a 25% restocking fee where permitted by law.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Final Sale — No Returns or Exchanges

Due to the personal nature of wigs, hair products, customized products, and beauty products, all sales are final.

Color by Von does not accept returns or exchanges for reasons including change of mind, incorrect size selected by the customer, unwanted color, unwanted length, style preference, or other personal preference.

Customers should carefully review all product descriptions, measurements, photos, policies, and options before purchasing.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Orders

Customers must inspect their order immediately upon delivery.

If you believe you received the wrong item or an item with a manufacturing defect, contact colorbyvon@gmail.com within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

Your message should include your order number and clear photographs and/or video showing the issue.

Do not cut, color, bleach, wash, install, alter, style, remove lace from, apply products to, or otherwise modify the item while a claim is being reviewed.

Products that have been worn, installed, altered, chemically processed, cut, washed, or modified may not qualify for a remedy unless otherwise required by law.

Color by Von will review qualifying claims and determine the appropriate remedy based on the circumstances.

Hair Care & Product Longevity

The longevity and performance of human-hair products depend heavily on maintenance, products used, heat exposure, chemical processing, installation techniques, and daily care.

Color by Von cannot guarantee a specific lifespan after the product has been used, installed, altered, colored, chemically treated, or maintained outside recommended care instructions.

Damage resulting from improper care, excessive heat, improper chemical processing, misuse, or third-party services is not considered a product defect.

Third-Party Styling & Alterations

Color by Von is not responsible for damage caused after delivery by another stylist, salon, installer, colorist, customer, or third party.

Any cutting, bleaching, coloring, toning, chemical treatment, customization, installation, adhesive use, or other alteration is performed at the customer's own risk.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact colorbyvon@gmail.com before initiating a payment dispute so that Color by Von has an opportunity to review and resolve the issue.

In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, Color by Von may provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant transaction records, including the order confirmation, checkout acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, shipping and tracking information, signature confirmation, customer communications, IP/device information available through the ecommerce platform, and applicable store policies.

Nothing in this section limits a customer's lawful rights through their financial institution or applicable law.

Intellectual Property

All Color by Von branding, product names, photographs, graphics, videos, website content, written copy, logos, designs, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Color by Von unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be reproduced, copied, sold, distributed, or used commercially without written authorization.

Website Information

Color by Von makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, availability, pricing, and website information are accurate.

Occasionally, errors may occur. Color by Von reserves the right to correct errors, update information, change pricing, or cancel orders affected by a material error.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Color by Von will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use or misuse of products or the website.

Any liability that cannot legally be excluded will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Privacy

Customer information is handled according to the Color by Von Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Information necessary to process payments, fulfill orders, prevent fraud, provide customer service, and complete delivery may be shared with payment processors, ecommerce providers, shipping carriers, and other service providers as reasonably necessary to complete the transaction.

Changes to These Terms

Color by Von reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The terms in effect at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
